Do I have to install TeamViewer on remote computer?
« on: April 02, 2013, 02:41:59 PM »
I invited and got on remote computer. But when I want to go on again. It makes me download and install exe on remote computer.

I noticed that TV is not running in the background as a startup program and has not been installed on the remote computer.

Do I have to be in verbal or email contact to get users password?

Unless you set the remote computer up for 'unattended access', then yes you do need current password for each connection.

Thanks for the posts. I've been using another remote viewer for a few years but they have limited "clients" to 10 so I need a new program and was using Tv on my iPad to remote to my computer but hadn't used it other than that.

To clarify, is the full version being installed on my computer or the remote computer?

i would install the full version on each.
Then on the remote system,
extras/option/security
set up a password for unattended access that you can use each time
( or set this up when it ask when you are installing).
Also be sure that the remote system is set to "start with windows"
