Disable Comment dialog box?
« on: June 18, 2013, 06:36:18 AM »
Does anyone know of a way to disable the comment dialog box that appears after youve closed your connection?

Thanks!

I presume that you want to remove an "trace" that someone has been attending to a remote machine.
While there are ways with scripts to remove popups ans such, the easiest way to do this is just reboot the remote computer( have it set to start with windows)

Nope... Im referring to the comments dialog that pops up on my end (the administrator connecting to another machine) after ending a TeamViewer session.

check out these two threads:

http://teamviewerforums.com/index.php?topic=1533.0

http://teamviewerforums.com/index.php?topic=1255.0

post in either if it applies, in the first thread there is a link to site that may be able to offer a solution in so far as creating a script that will close down the popup.
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=135746
but it may be outdated,( teamviewer 7) perhaps you can post there and they can update the script.

Let us know if that helps

Do you wish to only selectively get the 'comments' dialog?
Or do you wish to ease it completely.

My understanding is that this only happens if you log onto teamviewer on any computer, and you have an online account.
I think that if you don't have an online account that you don't get the 'comments' dialog

I know this is an old thread, but I am new to TV and had the same issue.

The comment dialog Box is displayed on MY originating computer after every session.  Annoying and unnecessary for me.
I found that in the Teamviewer Management Console (WebSite) that under my account (gear next to login name), I selected to Edit Profile.
The last option on the General section was a check box of whether or not to display this box after the connection ends.

Thanks,
