Partner did not connect to router.
« on: July 10, 2013, 04:32:42 PM »
We are a non-commercial/non-profit radio station. We have 4 Windows machines running TeamViewer that I access remotely using Team Viewer on my Mac, and my iPad. This has been working great for a few months now, much better than other options I had tried. As of this morning, I could not access 3 of the 4 machines - the 3 are running Windows 7, and the one I could access is running Windows XP. When I went to the station, I had to restart the 3 machines to get them to reconnect to TeamViewer and show up as available. When I got back home and tried to access those machines, I got an Error: "No connection to partner! Partner did not connect to rougher. Error Code: WaiforConnectFailed". Between Monday night, the last time I used Team Viewer, and this morning, nothing changed, that I'm aware of. Any suggestions?

I've had this same issue but with windows 8.1 machines. They are both using Teamviewer 11. They are the HOST machines. The computers at the other locations all work with teamviewer. The only issue is the ones where i get this router error. I have turned the router firewall off. And then turned the windows firewall off. Still having this issue. I reinstalled teamviewer as well. Nothing seems to be working.

I've seen then when someone shuts down teamviewer on the remote computer.
Just confirm again that team viewer is running, and it give an 'active' green dot

(firewalls will normally allow this traffic, so turn the firewalls back on before you get more trouble from an outside hacker)
