I was on TV6 on fedora 14 (server) and TV6 on Windows 7 x64 on the client side. Was working fine but due to the update nags, I updated both to TV8. Oh dear. Now I get "Connecting..." but it never connects. On Tv6 is always worked fine.

Are Teamviewer as a company in the process of slowly letting Linux support fade and die? It's hard to think of why a fundamental problem like this (TV8 + Linux server = broken) can go unresolved for such a long time. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining, just thinking about whether I should be moving to an alternative solution if Teamviewer are planning to drop Linux support?
