Using a password with Unattended Access
« on: August 21, 2013, 09:29:15 AM »
I setup a password using the Unattended Access option. But when I use my cell phone (a Windows phone) it does not ask for a password. What am I doing wrong?

just to clarify
You set up one PC with unattended access and you are trying to access it with your windows phone ..TV on your windows phone does not ask for a password?
do you recall it ever asking for a password( the windows phone).
You may have inadvertently checked a "remember this password" on the windows phone the first time you accessed the remote system.
trying removing or changing  the password and see what happens.

Thanks, I can see that my Windows phone does go through a login sequence, probably using the saved password as you correctly suspected.

So I changed the password in TeamViewer on my PC as you suggested and tried the phone again. It still logs in. So I exited TeamViewer and ran it again to be sure it used the new password but it still logs in.

that is odd, try uninstalling teamviewer form the phone then reinstalling.
