A way to setup access without a passowrd?
« on: December 17, 2013, 02:15:23 AM »
Hello,

I use teamviewer to control my main desktop via my cellphone, is there a way to setup teamviewer so it accepts connections from my cellphone without even entering a password? (Or is my best bet a 'personal' password?)

I've checked all of the options available and I couldn't find anything that enable me to do so, I also tried the blacklist/whitelist options.

Also two more questions that I'd really appreciate help with:

  • How can I disable sound from being transferred over the connection?
  • Is there a way to change the resolution of the remote control without changing the resolution of the client?(i.e. I want to view the client as 1280x720, but I want the client to remain at its native resolution of 1920x1200)

Thanks a lot,

your best bet is to use personal password and add your computer at home to your computer and contacts with that personal password entered.
you can setup the client on your cellphone to automatically log in when connected ( to you computers and contacts) and all you have to do is connect.

1. There is a computer sounds option in 'audio/video' in the connection bar of the computer that you are connecting FROM. deselect this option (it is on by default)
2. Set your screen resolution on the computer that you are connecting from AFTER you set the scaling to 'original'
