How to bridge connections / LAN to LAN?
« on: January 30, 2014, 11:44:53 PM »
Using TV, I am looking to support a remote laptop, and a remote IP camera. This is essentially LAN to LAN.

I am using TV as I have no access to either premise router to port forward - or I'd be using OpenVPN.

Usually I would bridge the local lan to the TV adapter and a local route, and be on with my day.

However, after bridging, although I can connect via VPN, the local 7/8 routes are not created, and I cannot ping the other end. (i.e. From 7/8 net to 192.168/24 net.)

In other instances, I have added a 2nd IP address to the net adapter, however, TV appears to be completely resetting / ignoring static IP settings at each vpn setup/teardown.

Suggestions?
