Not showing remote video
« on: February 08, 2014, 08:18:42 PM »
I'm going to do my best to describe my situation....

I have a PC with a graphics expander that has 2 outputs and goes to 4 different monitors like thus: In the GE, Monitor 1 is my main desktop display and monitor 2 is broken into 3 different displays.

I have a simulator program I run that utilizes all 4 outputs. The main display is a "God view" display that allows me to see an overview of the simulated world while the other 3 outputs give me 1st person views of events in the world.

Here's what I'm trying to do:
I am using teamviewer to allow a friend of mine to run the "God view" from his PC while I am running the simulation as the "God" can change different aspects of the world without the person involved knowing it (ie, weather, visibility etc).

Here's my problem:
I can log in to the simulator PC fine, I can work everything perfectly. The problem comes when I start the simulation program, the screen goes black. The mouse still works as I can see it affecting items in the god view, but I am only seeing a black screen on the remote PC.
Feel free to ask for clarification on anything.

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!!!

teamviewer MIGHT be sensing this as desktop wallpaper somehow.
Check this:Open ( on your system that you are connecting FROM:
open teamviewer window
EXTRAS>OPTIONS>REMOTE CONTROL
look at the section that says Options for remote control of other computers/Display
makes sure the box is UNCHECKED for  "remove remote wallpaper"
