shortcuts don't work - teamviewer 9 on Xubuntu 13.10

Hi everyone,

I'm having difficulties with sending keyboard-combinations aka shortcuts from one Xubuntu to another - actually it is not the remote Xubuntu, that is not
able to type backslashes "\", but the virtualized Windows XP within.

Do you have any idea, why special characters/ keyboard-strokes like Ctrl + C or Ctrl + V, or backslash are not transmitted to the virtualboxed Windows-XP?

Could be a Virtualbox-Question. i'm not sure right now.
