When Teamviewer Crashes I lose My Files
« on: April 01, 2014, 05:53:01 PM »
I am running Teamviewer 9.0.27339 on two Windows 7 systems both 64bit, one running Pro, the other Basic. Most of the time this has been fine but Teamviewer randomly cuts the connection. This has nothing to do with losing a connection, they are both on the same home wifi network and neither connection drops to the network, but Teamviewer on the client just drops.

What's making this really frustrating is that I am trying to transfer files between the two computers. Despite copying and pasting, as opposed to cutting and pasting, when the connection drops the files are deleted from my host computer!

Why is this happening and how do I stop losing files?

may want to start a direct ticket and also post on their facebook page.
Its always worth submitting a direct ticket: http://www.teamviewer.com/en/help/createticket.aspx
You can post questions to the Teamviewer Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/teamviewer

in the meantime maybe someone can add some input.

I've NEVER seen files deleted when a transfer occurs.

For me, if a connection drops for me mid file transfer, the file transfer picks up where it left off.
