Can't connect to my other teamviewer pcs
« on: April 24, 2014, 06:19:15 AM »
Hi, At my home i have my laptop & my desktop logged onto teamviewer through my login id. And at my work i have my pc logged onto teamviewer from the same id. But from some time now my laptop and my desktop disappeared from my work pc. So when i went home i made sure all my computers were connected and teamviewer was logged on. This is very strange because i am not using any of my pcs for work related. I only do work on my work pc.

Does anybody know why is this happening? Because i think there could be two reasons :
a. teamviewer thinks i am using this for commercial purposes.
b. there is something wrong with my id and connections so none of my pcs are accessible.

You DON"T need to log into three PCs

You SHOULD only logon at a SINGLE PC

You should be able to connect to others by using the saved information in the 'computers and contacts'

Perhaps having three computers logged in is the issue, or perhaps your workplace blocks Teamviewer connections

Our workplace installed the teamviewer on our pcs here. Don't know why they would want to block the access to it? So, i don't think that's the issue.
Am i not allowed to have more than 1 connection in my contacts?
My main concern is that, when i am logged onto my three computers, shouldn't i been allowed to connect to them? The problem is when all my pc's are running teamviewer, none of them appeared in the contacts list!!! That's what i find mind boggling..... And totally illogical. While i like the software very much when it's working fine. This kind of issue is very basic and needs to be fixed asap.

No, you can have dozens

You just don't LOGIN on any except the one you are sitting physically at.

Are you another LogMeIn refugee?
Teamviewer whilst performing a similar function as LogMeIn operates completely differently.

The problem is when all my pc's are running teamviewer, none of them appeared in the contacts list!!!
But they do if they are NOT running teamviewer?
What if you start Teamviewer and DON"T LOG IN. Are they visible then?
