i just want to ask how many can replicate this issue :
Connect to a w7 machine (with TV9) and open a cmd.exe Windows shell , activate the capslock and then try to open with edit.com a text file and the to type letters and numbers.
I bet you will see caps letters but instead of get numbers you will get special caracters connected to the numbers Keys like you are keep pressing SHIFT
like if you press the key "4" and you will get a "$"
it is a strange issue and for now i could replicate only with edit.com , i guess it happens with all the console software i could execute from cmd.exe
if you tap with the mouse outside the cmd window you are typing and then "go back" , if you type numeber , they "happers" , but when you type letters and then back numbers , again , the "ghost shift pressing" happears again.
i cannot work in assistance clicking with the mouse "out and in" each time i need to type numbers while having CAPS on ,
that is very frustrating more then all the amount of time you loose to do it ...
After many email triing to explain to the support team what was the issue they just told me that edit.com is like other old dos software and teamviewer "do not work DOS softwares"
what i am asking myself is
1) why this issues came out with TV9 and before all was working correctly
2) i think that this software have a "big trouble Handling SHIFT etc etc"
2) why when 1 year and half ago they didnt told me this before i payed 898 euro's ?
3) i work as a tecnician and i do lot of "tele-assistance" and i do that using lot of console software like also the one EDIT.COM that is part of the operating system w7. what sense have their reply telling me that TV doenst work with that "big part of world" that is around us that still need our assistance that still have windows7 edit.com ETC ETC ?
i just can think i made a wrong buy paying that 898 euro's ... i could take something else for very less and maybe much more "compatibility" but specially.. more support to solve a "so stupid bug"
I have to try to install back the V8 to see if it happens , but i dont think so couse i used it for around 1 year and i never expected something like that
if the V8 will work it could be a solution but only with peoples that will not install tv9 and that is not for sure a good solution
i think i must "adverstise" colleagues and as many friends and peoples as much i can that are intrested in buy this software and they are they have the need to make assistance not only with "mouse clicking" but typin by hands some lowlevel commands (like usually deep and high quality tecnicians still are doing!!)
