Understanding TV log files
« on: August 13, 2014, 03:38:56 PM »
I'm a new user of the free version. I've just returned from a vacation. Before departing, I set TV up on my home Mac, planning to possibly access it via TV on my iPad while away.   I never got around to attempting to log in, so when I got home and found the following in TV's log file, I became alarmed.    Does it show someone accessing my system on 8/11?

I've bold-faced a few items… Do they show an intruder setting up VPN access to my machine?   Changing IDs?  Is the number (blocked out) in red the IP address of this uninvited visitor?   I also blocked out the 5 digit and 9 digit numbers which I gather are user IDs… would they be mine or the visitor's?

The last 5 items in particular look (to my admittedly inexperienced eyes) like someone trying and then succeeding to circumvent a log-in challenge.

Is there a 'key' somewhere to aid in reading these logs?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Is there documentation available that explains how to read a teamviewer log file?

Thanks.
