Hi, I'm a new TeamViewer user and I had a question regarding setting up temporary access to my Mac.
I'm working with a developer to build an Excel document with VBA coding and unfortunately the doc doesn't seem to work too well on my Mac. I'm considering giving the developer access to my Mac so he can test the code on a Mac (since he doesn't have one), but I do have some safety concerns regarding it:
- Can I limit a person's access to a specific application or folder? In this case it would be Excel and the file the developer is building to test code.
- I know you can give access to your computer by sharing your ID and password, but is there anyway to revoke this after a certain time or perhaps change the password. I don't mind giving access to my Mac but I don't want the developer having unattended access and I don't want him having access after the project is done.
- Lastly, how can I keep track of any and all changes being made "live" i.e. follow his movements on my Mac as he does them?
I'm still not a 100% on giving someone access to my Mac but if there are some precautions I can take I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.
Thanks in advance!
