Hi Matt! Win-XP x86 and Win-XP x64 are actually two different OSes. I'm running Win-XP-Pro x64 SP2. XP-Pro x64 is the same codebase as Server 2003 - and uses the Server 2003 Service Packs. SP2 is the most recent Server 2003 SP, therefore I am as current as is possible.
I have tried both methods, clean installs of TV 10 and upgrade from the previous version installs, multiple times in an attempt to see if it was an installation issue of some kind. And, as I said, it appears that the "installs" themselves are successful ... ... ... It is when TV 10 is launched that the BEX error occurs.
Please note:
I mentioned that I also get the same BEX error when launching the PORTABLE APPS version of TV 10.
(That pretty much takes any "install issues" out of the equation).
I believe that it is probably a small code problem, so I am also communicating with TV Support about it.
But keep all other ideas coming - I'll try anything that sounds feasible. And I will post back here if TV Support is able to help me.
Thanks,
CBruce
