TeamViewer does not always connect
« on: June 24, 2015, 01:17:29 PM »
I consolidated several windows machines to a single machine  running windows 8.1 and use android TV boxes as thin clients. Worls excellent! Unfortunately TeamViewer does not always connect when away from home. If my wife is using Microsoft RDP for android and is logged in, one of four things will happen when trying to connect with TeamViewer: 1) connect error occurs, 2) connection happens, but with blank screen, 3) connection is successful to my wife's user, or 4) connection is successful to my user. If #2 happens I can issue a logoff command through the TeamViewer action menu, wait a couple of minutes, then connect with TeamViewer. If #1 happens I can't do anything. My user is always logged in and that's the one I want to see with TeamViewer. I have TeamViewer set to start when windows starts. It's always in the tray for my user. I haven't looked to see if it's in the tray for my wife's user. When at home, several of us happily use Microsoft RDP for android at the same time with no problems. When away from home I use my work windows machine with TeamViewer, or use my android phone with TeamViewer. I have TeamViewer v 9.0.32494 at work and at home. I get an upgrade message, but have not updated because it may not be compatible with the enterprise license we have. Thanks

Updating to version 10 fixed the problem. I was afraid there would be a license issue, but no. Version 10 works faster, too!
