Cant login with android app using work wifi

So when i connect my android device to wifi at my work I cannot login to teamviewer android app, and cant connect to my pc at home. It all works when im using my phone's own internet. It says something like this "can not establish connection, please check internet connection". Is it the internet configuration at work or can I do something on my own?

If i cant do anything myself, is there any alternative to teamviewer that can do the job using the wifi connection at work? Using maybe different ports or something?

Maybe work has blocked the necessary ports on the corporate wifi...

This seems to be a long-standing problem, and I'm not sure if it's being paid any attention.

I'm running Teamviewer "11.0.4376 CL" on my Note4, and as long as I am using my cell data connection, everything works fine. If I connect through wifi, the software is unusable -- it just sits there indefinitely trying to connect and log in.

For what it's worth, this situation is unchanged if I'm tunneling through a VPN (using OpenVPN). If the phone itself is connected via the cell network, it works (with the expected hit to performance); if by wifi it fails.

It's worth noting that the Teamviewer clients on non-Android OSs (Linux, Windows, OSX) work well, on the same local networks on which the Android client fails.

The very same situation happens to me: I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite SM-T110 with Android 4.2.2 running Teamviewer Quicksupport "11.0.4555 QS" (taken from Google Play Store, that of Samsung has v10) + Samsung Add-on for remote control, against regular PC with Teamviewer 11.

When both are on the same LAN (1) they (very) seldom connect - however, when the tablet runs on a different LAN (2) it connects 100% of the time.  Tablet doesn´t run on 3G

(1) through a wifi router, and also by wifi/3g-tethering from an iPhone
(2) laptop on wifi router and tablet on wifi/3g-tethering from an iPhone

Same situation happens with TV QS v10, and without Samsung Add-on for remote control, (yes, tried all combinations)

Try to lodge a ticket or try their facebook page
