Problem with file transfer in Teamviewer11 beta
« on: November 11, 2015, 05:21:47 AM »
Hi!

I am constantly encountering a problem with file transfer with Teamviewer11 beta. The 11 beta version is installed on all machines and the error occurs either between machines with the same operating system (Win7) and different OSs (e.g. Win 7 and XP). The problem is that the Teamviewer11 beta always crashes on at least one of the machines (more frequently on the remote one) - the file transfer sometimes occurs completely and sometimes not quite.

Any help with this issue will be appreciated! Is it a bug in beta version?

Many thanks in advance,
/ljupco

beta is a test version in normal circumstances, i would uninstall the beta and revert back to version 10 until the bugs are worked out of beta 11

thanks for the advice! of course, i'm fully aware that "beta" means a development version, but i didn't expect that such gross bugs could be present in a beta version; trying out a beta version is always a compromise between having to deal with (hopefully relatively small) bugs while at the same time using the novel options and benefits; but, however, obviously the bugs are not always acceptably small. anyway i hope that these posts will be helpful to teamviewer developers so that they could be alarmed to fix the bugs - i have found tvw exceptionally useful till now and hope that the next versions will remain useful as well :).

regards,
/lj.

If you still have the crash with the new version that was released today, please report it to TeamViewer directly (support@teamviewer.com). I don't think support/developers actively monitor this forum.
