Greetings,

Thanks for any help!   

I recently installed TeamViewer 11 on my laptop and it works perfectly while on my home's wireless network, but when I take that same laptop to work and use their wired network I get the "Not ready. Please check your connection" message the entire time.   There is no proxy at work.

I found this log entry interesting:
CTcpConnectionBase[25661]::HandleConnect(): Connect failed to dest-ip ping3.teamviewer.com:5938 with error 10061 No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

Any ideas?

The connection is being refused on the other end of the connection. This sounds like a firewall issue - most likely your work network settings. The SSH tunnel is not being negotiated properly - so I would start there.
