Unattended access but with a password I created?
« on: February 15, 2016, 12:22:44 PM »
I would like to access my computer from my iPhone and other computers but always needing a personal password.

I evidently have my computers set up to automatically access my computers w/o entering a password.

How can I correct that so I always have to enter a personal password on an unattended computer?

In Computers and contacts
Select your computer >> properties

remove the saved password

GOT IT! I had to "Sign out" of TeamViewer and then it asked my for my password!

DIDN"T get it.

I did "Select your computer >> properties", changed the password, closed TeamViewer and opened it and a smaller password (fewer dots) was still there and I clicked on "Log on" and it did.

Again, I want to have one personalized password that will work on all the "unattended" computers that I want to remote.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Well it works with my custom password but if I close T.V. and then start it up again and try to connect to the same remote computer it has less characters in the password area already filled in and I can log on without inputting my custom password.

Very frustrating although I'm "assuming" it's something I'm doing.

Don't change the password, just remove the password

Then log out , log in to computers and contacts
