Team Viewer provides password - how to stop?
« on: March 19, 2016, 07:12:23 AM »
Hello,
I use Team Viewer 11.0.56083 to log in to one Windows 8.1-Computer from another one running Win7.

When I insert the ID of the remote computer, TV asks for the password but already provides it (even though in hidden). But I don't have to enter it any more.
So anybody starting TV and havin the ID could start the connection.
How can I stop that?

Thanks in advance,
A

That only occurs until the machine you are physically sitting at has team viewer restarted.
If you restart teamviewer - that won't happen the next time
If you restart your computer, that won't happen next time.

Make sure that you only log into computers and contacts from the computer at which you are sitting. You do not need to log into computers and contacts on all machines
