Your partner's desktop is no longer accessible
« on: May 03, 2016, 11:25:41 AM »
Hello.  I was searching through the forum and I could not exactly find the answer to my question, I hope it is not a duplicate.

I'm remoting into a computer on a AD domain with an end user whose network account does not have Admin rights on the local computer.  When I connect, I'm using Windows Logon.  However, instead of using a domain account, I'm using a local administrator account to connect to Team Viewer 11.  I simply want to install a program from the web.  I download the app and when I right click and select Run As Administrator, I receive a TV message that states "Your partner's desktop is no longer accessible. Probably you used a program that requires additional permission.  Please wait till your partner has granted the permissions."

I'm assuming the end user is being prompted for user name and password for elevated privileges because I am unable to do anything on the screen.  However, only I can provide that information and I cannot give it to the end user.  I'm not certain what to do.  How do I force TV to use the provided local Admin priveleges.

Thank you

matt

Keeping your teamviewer session alive all the way , log out (or switch from) the non-admin user from the remote computer, log in as the local admin, then install your program. logout the admin user when done.

As long as TV will allow me to switch accounts, then, I'll give it a try.  Thank you for your help.
