Hi all,
First post here but I've been using TeamViewer for a few years now, always without a problem. I have a PC running Windows 10 Pro at a remote location (to control a telescope, cameras, etc remotely). Two days ago I switched on the PC, waited a minute and it popped up on my TeamViewer "Computers and Contacts" as "Online". I logged in and used it for a good number of hours without a hitch. Yesterday morning I logged in again (after waking up) and switched everything off - again, no problem at all.
Here's the issue now. Yesterday afternoon, about 12 hours later after I had last used it, I switched on the PC and my remote PC would never appear as "Online" under "Computers and Contacts". I tried rebooting it numerous times and nothing. The guy who works at the observatory connected a monitor to my PC over there to check it out and he says TeamViewer is saying "Not ready. Check your Internet connection" and the TeamViewer ID is not coming up, despite the Internet connection clearly being up and working flawlessly. Nothing over there has changed (e.g. router settings) and my personal Windows 10 Pro firewall is off for Private and Public networks. My connection to the network over there is purely via Ethernet and is set as a Private network in Windows 10 Pro.
Please keep in mind TeamViewer has worked flawlessly there for me since late March when I first set up my PC there. However, as from yesterday afternoon, it does not appear to connect to the TeamViewer server. Some friends of mine set up at the same place are also having the same issue so it isn't just my PC. We strongly suspect it is a TeamViewer server problem, as nothing over there has changed (literally), but we're unsure. We can't think of anything else really. The observatory is located near Badajoz in Spain.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
