TeamViewer Support problem
« on: June 15, 2016, 05:25:50 AM »
Hi!

Don't know where to address my problem. Because support service ( https://www.teamviewer.com/en/support/contact/submit-a-ticket/ ) is not working. I left a ticket. After that I got an answer from Alfonso, Key Account Support Engineer. I send him a special file created by the program Alfonso asked me to use. And so... twelve days have past and no response.

How many days do they need to solve a standard ticket? Maybe I can get some help in solving my problem here?

Thanks in advance,
Yevgen.

hopefully someone here can help but keep in mind the forums are users supported, try posting on their facebook page in the meantime as well.

What's your actual problem?

You could also try the Teamviewer facebook page (as Admin says)

Oh, thanks!

Actually my problem is:
I was using Google Authenticator to login in the Teamviewer (2-step verification). This app generated for me a special code to enter while logging in.
I have updated the firmware on my phone and by mistake forgot to turn off this 2-step verification.
Now I don't have a chance to enter this special code, because I don't have access to this Google-application.

Is there any chance to turn off 2-step verification in my account?

#1 I think that you can re-download the Google authenticator app. It should be linked to an email address
#2 that app should survive a firmware update
#3 the Google authenticate generates a new code every about 15 seconds - you need the code that comes up in this 15 seconds to get access to teamviewer if two factor authentication is enabled
