Blank screen at teamviewer client

Dear all,

I was using teamviewer for several month upon a strange problem occured: When I am connecting from a client computer to my host computer using firefox or IE, the webbrowser will only show a blank (white) screen instead of the hosts desktop.

Trying to connect with a different PC lets me end up with the same issue.

Interestingly, when I am connecting with my iPad by using the teamviewer app, everything runs smoothly.

I couldnt find any explanation or hint to solve this issue in the forum. Any help will be kindly appreciated!

really no one has replied to this?

I have searched around and followed the steps that other posts suggested but to no avail.

I do have a laptop that i connect to but if the answer is leave the lid open that is not a solution, that is a band-aid solution and since this topic has been going on since 2014 why can I not find a permanent solution.
